JDC is a Halifax, Nova Scotia based company that offers our clients decades of experience in the Window & Door field as well as a wealth of knowledge of general construction with an emphasis on Building Envelopes. Much of our work is predominantly conducted at occupied premises and we both supply and install the quality products we offer. We often engage into installations into new buildings & homes that require a focused skillset however our specialty is retrofitting existing homes and multi-residential premises. This often is paired with envelope restoration and the installation of exterior claddings and can often include deck structures also.
Our emphasis is on the details of water management and the fit and finish of all interior and exterior components and trim elements. Restoration is skill unto itself as not only must it look good, it must be good. Clients will also employ us to explore window, door, and envelope issues to report findings with recommendations on corrective actions before moving on the execution of the necessary works. Our dedicated team seamlessly wrap all this with a very strong commitment to our comprehensive audit safety program.

We retrofitted our first “Kohler” window more than 30 years ago. We have personally met the genius that was Peter Kohler, whom arguably designed and built the best windows and doors. He listened, confided, and trained industry professionals like us with his vision. This vision continues at Kohltech Windows and Entrance Systems through its people and innovation whom are still on the leading edge. We are proud to be a part of that legacy and its future.
